Evergreen Lane is a 5 acre family owned, Christmas tree farm in Langley, British Columbia. After buying the farm in 2020 we have taken the land from overgrown and neglected to a working farm, learning animal husbandry, beekeeping and horticulture. Building a new riding ring and outdoor paddocks, building a chicken coop and run, planting an orchard and Christmas Trees, the farm has grown year over year.
Les & Maryann moved to Langley to be closer to their grandkids. Les has always wanted to farm land after working for his uncle’s farm in Richmond as a teenager. Les is captain of the Christmas trees and Maryann the accounts; when it comes time to plant trees it’s all hands on deck.
Stephanie works in software and web development by day and farms by weekend/night. She’s in charge of all things food related – Looking after our laying hens, minding the honey bees, and planting all fruit & veg. She is an active member of the Langley Bee Club (The South Fraser Branch of the BC Honey Producer’s Association) serving as their treasurer from 2023 to present and a newly appointed director of the BC Christmas Tree Association.
Sarah is a veterinary office manager and has been riding and caring for horses since she was in elementary school. Dirk & Sven are her two very codependent horses who reside here on the farm.
