This classic pumpkin is your perfect Halloween pumpkin, it has an elongated barrel shape which is perfect for carving. It also produces a lot of seeds that are amazing for roasting.
Growing Instructions: These plants require a lot of room, Plant outdoors in early Summer, placing a good amount of compost beneath each plant. Water deeply and less frequently, early in the day or later in the afternoon.
Harvest Instructions: Pumpkins are mature when they’ve tuned orange and their stems are crisp, fruit will be fine in fall as the plant dies back, harvest and bring pumpkins under cover before large rains.
Companion Planting: Plant with corn and beans. Avoid planting next to Brassicas, or potato.
